BOKO HARAM DAYS ARE NUMBERED
There were indications yesterday that the 230 female students abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from the Government Girls’ Secondary School, GGSS, Chibok, Borno State, have been sited at the Sambisa Forest in Borno State, by the Special Forces of the United States Marines.
The girls who were abducted on April 14, were part of the 250 students boarded at the school for the West African School Certificate, WASC/ Senior Secondary School Certificate, SSSC, examinations, triggering world-wide condemnations.
This was even as more US military officials arrived Nigeria yesterday to join local officials in the search for nearly 300 school girls taken captives by the Islamist extremist group, Boko Haram, the US Secretary of State John Kerry, and the defence department, Pentagon, said.
The UK team had earlier arrived in Abuja to support Nigerian government in its response to the abduction of over 200 school girls.
The arrival of the foreign troops is coming on the heels of the appeal yesterday by the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar for Nigerians to unite and fight the insurgents to achieve success.
According to Kerry, “Our inter-agency team is hitting the ground in Nigeria now and they are going to be working with President Goodluck Jonathan’s government to do everything that we possibly can to return these girls.”
The CNN also quoted the U.S. Navy Rear Admiral, John Kirby, who serves as Pentagon press secretary, as saying that the small team of seven would join advisers supporting local efforts to find the girls abducted over three weeks ago.
Kerry said the US team, working with the Nigerian government, would do everything possible to free the girls and everything possible to stop the atrocities of Boko Haram.
“We are also going to do everything possible to counter the menace of Boko Haram. The entire world should not only be condemning this outrage but should be doing everything possible to help Nigeria in the days ahead,” he added.
But there are no plans to send American combat troops into Nigeria, Mr. Kirby said. -

Who’s the boss? Move over Freeze, Don Jazzy wore that N20 million watch years ago (See Photos)
On Air Personality, Freeze was recently in the news over his extensive (and expensive) watch collection.
One of the pieces, a De Grisogono instrumento novantatre is said to be worth a whopping $120,000, that’s about N20 million!
It seems however that someone beat Freeze to the prize as MAVIN boss, Don Jazzy apparently wore the same watch 4 years ago, and with pyjamas!

Many Dead As Bomb Blast Rocks Abuja
The Nyanya park is a transit point for residents of Mararaba, Nasarawa State and satellite communities of the Federal Capital Territory.
The park is used by vehicles belonging to Abuja Mass Transit Company and inter-city transporters.
The police say the explosion affected 16 high capacity buses as well as smaller commercial vehicles, some of which had loaded and were ready to leave.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that several dead bodies and human parts littered the ground in and around the park after the attack.
At 10 a.m. more than 100 victims of the blast, made up of the dead and the injured, had been deposited at the National Hospital, Mrs Rabia Labaran, an assistant information officer, at the hospital said.
The Chief Medical Director of Maitama General Hospital, Abuja, Dr Sotimehin Adetohun, confirmed that the 14 dead bodies and 37 injured persons were brought to the hospital, while two persons in critical conditions were transferred to National Hospital.
Men of the Anti-bomb Squad of the Nigeria Police, fire service, Federal Road Safety Commission, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the National Emergency Management Agency personnel arrived at the scene 20 minutes after the attack.
Rescue workers battled to take the dead and injured to nearby hospitals, including Nyanya General Hospital.
However, eyewitnesses gave different accounts of the incident.
A commercial motorcycle rider, who gave his name as Wahad, told NAN that a man threw a bag containing the bomb into the congested park.
“I was conveying a passenger to the park this morning when I saw a man throw a big black bag into the park; the next thing I saw was explosion,’’ Wahad said.
Another eyewitness, David Lukman, however, said that the bomb was planted in a car at the park.
“I am very sure the bomb was either planted at the park last night or a suicide bomber posing as passenger entered one of the cars with it,’’ he said.
A stockbroker, Abbas Adamu, said four of his friends died in the explosion.
“I have never seen something like this in my entire life.
“My friends told me this morning that they were going to Kaduna and because I was also going to Kaduna in my car I told them to wait for me at the park so that we go together.
“But I asked them to enter the park and not wait under the bridge because road safety and VIO (Vehicle Inspection Officers) officials usually disturb along the road under the bridge.
“Seconds later, I heard a loud explosion; in fact, I can’t explain because I felt something like electric shock inside the car, and as I speak to you now, my friends are all dead,’’ Adamu said.
Meanwhile, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed the explosion, in a statement signed by its Senior Information Officer, Mr Sani Datti.
It said the explosion occurred at about 6.30 a.m. and warned residents of the area to keep off the scene of the explosion.
According to the statement, officers of the Search and Rescue department of NEMA and other response agencies had been deployed to the area. (NAN)

50 CENT BACK FROM HOSPITAL.
A month after 50
Cent was hospitalized with some blockage in his small intestine, 50 CENT was
back in the hospital last night, this time after a car accident. He has
since been released and is back on the mend.
“Curtis ’50
Cent’ Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday
morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated
for minor neck and back injuries,” said a spokesperson for the rapper in
a statement given to MTV News. “He was released this morning and is
doing fine.”
The rapper’s website This is 50 broke the story early Tuesday morning
(June 26), though the details are thin.
The site
reported that the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ MC’s bullet-proof SUV almost
flipped over after it was rear-ended by a Mack truck while driving on
the Long Island Expressway in New York City.
The site published multiple pictures of 50 on a stretcher with a neck
brace. There are also pictures of 50′s mangled SUV as well as photos of
the truck that is said to have caused the accident.
50 famously
survived a 2000 attack in which he was shot nine times and in 2003
dropped his classic major-label debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Fif has
since built himself as one of rap’s biggest draws and smartest business
minds, crafting lucrative deals in music and merchandising.
50 CENT latest
mixtape The Lost Tape was released in May and on July 3 the G-Unit
Records CEO will be releasing his oft-delayed fifth studio album 5
(Murder By Numbers).
WORDS OF WISDOM
It takes a secure person to say, “I’m comfortable with who I am.” Accept the gifts and talents that God has given you.Don’t compare yourself; celebrate yourself. You don’t have to have a great gift for God to use you in a great way.

WORDS OF WISDOM
If you’ll keep your walls up and learn to walk away from offenses, then no weapon formed against you will prosper. No one can offend you without your permission. They can say whatever they want, but you have the right to ignore it.This is your time. This is your moment. Your destiny is calling out to you. You can conquer whatever you're struggling with.
words of wisdom
That obstacle that looks permanent is really only temporary. God is saying, “If you’ll stay in faith, I will deliver you.”We can’t wish things away, but if you choose faith instead of fear, it
activates God’s power, allowing Him to turn things around. There’s no difficulty that’s too much for you to overcome. Nothing that has been passed down has to keep you from your destiny.

Nigerian Talented Nollywood actress, Queen Nwokoye, is not usually seen in the news not to talk of her family life. She keeps her tone down and dances to her music slowly.
She is the mother of these adorable twin boys! many didn't know she had children as grown up like this, and for some others they never knew she was even married.
President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has blamed the poor growth of Nollywood in the country to lack of treaties.
According to her, 'most of our leaders have not been able to understand what it is to be a leader.'
She noted that treaties ought to be signed so it would be on paper that foreigners are welcome here.
'Most other African countries have treaties and we don't have, yet we have a bigger film industry.'
MAJID MICHAEL ADVICE TO PAUL OKOYE (P SQUARE)
" I hope my advices work. I love being married. Its so great to
find one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life. For
two people in a marriage to live together day after day is
unquestionably the one miracle the Vatican has overlooked.
One advantage of marriage is that, when you fall out of love with him or he falls out of love with you, it keeps you together until you fall in again. A good marriage would be between a blind wife and a deaf husband.
A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. There is so little different between husbands you might as well keep the first. Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you said; after marriage he'll fall asleep before you finish saying it. To avoid mistake, always consult your wife before engaging in flirtation. "
