History of Nollywood

Films have become Nigeria's second largest export after petroleum. At present, Nollywood is a multi-million dollar industry, producing close to 1000 movies per year, coming in third behind Hollywood and Bollywood (the Indian movie industry). Nollywood had its beginnings in the early 90s, with the release of "Living in Bondage", an Igbo film that had English subtitles. Production quality improved slowly, but plot lines still remained stagnant. It was not until 2003, that a breakthrough film would not only change Nollywood forever, but would also widen its scope to audiences worldwide. "Osuofia In London" was that film, and since then, Nollywood movies have taken a dramatic turn for the better. Video and audio quality have both improved, and plots have become more daring. Now as large scale theaters have begun in open in Nigeria, its only a matter of time before Nigeria can catch up to the the production quality of India, and stay ahead of Ghana, its latest competitor in the African film market.

BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE

Hardship and difficulty is a test. You’re a child of the Most High God. You’ve been armed with strength for every battle. You wouldn’t be who you are or where you are today without all of the difficult times. Be thankful even during the trials.Be the best you can be right where you are. Life is not about getting to a destination, it's about how we live along the way.

FAITH

Don’t fight change; embrace it, and you will step into the fullness of what is in store for your life.Come back to that place of peace. That disappointment is not going to work against you; it’s going to work for you.

FAITH

That difficulty is not there to defeat you; it’s there to promote you. You can handle it. Take hold of your strength.Get up every morning and make the declaration, “I’m ready for anything that comes my way.”If God can do it in the future, He can do it right now. Things are about to start turning around in your favor.

FAITH

Have faith that your restoration is on the way even when every voice is telling you, “It’s never going to happen.”
THe only message I want you to preach is love don't preach to me on how to make wealth I come from a wealthy nation but there is not enough love for the wealth to have a definition, preach to me how I can love my nation enough to Scream out my pains and save my nation from shame preach love
You have a choice. You can give away your joy when things don’t go your way, or you can make a much better decision and choose to live each day happy.
